Use the resource manager to edit, modify, release, localize, or access administrative options for a resource.
The resource manager opens on top of the content library and consists of several tabs, each enabling you to interact with the resource in some way.
Use the Content tab in the resource manager to quickly open a file to edit, suggest changes, and to leave or interact with comments.
The Content tab consists of the opened resource for editing and the Review tab, Attributes tab, and Outline tab. In the Content tab users with author privileges can fully edit and interact with the content.
Use the Properties tab in the resource manager to access the file's properties, and assign it to a collection or assign metadata.

- Stored location for the file.

- Opens the content library with the file highlighted.
- Rest URL
- Direct URL for the Rest location.
- WebDAV URL
- Direct URL for the WebDAV location.
Use the Links tab in the resource manager to view a file's direct linking relationships.
The Links tab shows the incoming and outgoing direct links for the current file. The Links tab does not show indirect links.

- The resources that link directly to the current resource.
- Outgoing Links
- The direct references of the current resource.
Use the History tab in the resource manager to view, compare, and restore previous versions of a file.
Revision events are created when users interact with a resource, such as opening and editing, unlocking, merging, moving.
The Assignments tab in the resource manager is similar to the Assignments interface in the Dashboard interface, but instead only shows assignments that contain the file you selected.
Use the Branching tab in the resource manager to create and interact with branches.
Branches are full copies of your content in another space, which you can edit independently of your original content. You can, however, merge changes from one branch to another and replace content in another branch. Branches that are created from the selected map show here and are available for merging and replacing content.
Administrators can use the Reports tab in the resource manager to select a report to run on the content in your repository.
easyDITA comes with a set of standard reports you can run on your maps and folders. We can also develop custom reports based on your needs.
Use the Locales tab to view a localized versions of the file once the localization jobs are complete.
easyDITA associates and tracks all locales for a particular resource. This means that in the Locales tab you can view all locales for that particular resource. In the Locales tab, you can:
- View all locales associated with a resource
- View the localization status of each locale, for example, current, out of date, and unavailable
- Access the translation memory and cache modes
- Upload locales for a file

Use the Localization Jobs tab in the resource manager to package content in maps to send for localization and then upload the localized content into easyDITA.
