easyDITA tracks all the activity for each file.

Activity Interface Overview

You can access the Activity interface from the Dashboard interface and content library.

You can see the full Activity interface in the Dashboard interface.

The following interface shows the activity in easyDITA.

You can see the Activity interface in a right pane of the content library.

The following pane shows the activity for a resource selected in the content library.

Operation

The following action trigger activity entries:

  • Workflow steps
  • Status updates
  • Revisions
  • New comments
  • Comment replies
  • Publishes

View Activity Entries

View the comment, assignment, revision, or DITA file associated with an activity entry.

  1. In the Dashboard interface, click Activity .
  2. Do any of the following:
    1. To view a comment, click a comment.

    2. To view a revision, click View Revision .

    3. To view an item, click a DITA topic or map.

    4. To view an assignment, click an assignment number.

Depending on the link you selected, the corresponding interface displays the change associated with the activity entry.

Filter Activity Entries

Manage the activity entries that show in the Activity interface of the Dashboard.

  1. In the Dashboard interface, click Activity .
  2. Click the Filter drop-down menu.
  3. Do any of the following:
    1. To filter activity entries beginning after a specific start date, click the Calendar icon and select a date, then click anywhere outside the Filter drop-down menu.
    2. To filter activity entries up until a specific end date, click the Calendar icon and select a date, then click anywhere outside the Filter drop-down menu.
    3. To filter activity entries for specific users, click the Users drop-down menu and select users, then click anywhere outside the Filter drop-down menu.
    4. To filter activity entries for a specific types, click the Types drop-down menu and select types of activity entries, then click anywhere outside the Filter drop-down menu.
